Berk Cankat (born Ankara), Turkish actor and graphic artist. Berk Cankat, originally from Circassian origin, was born in Ankara on 9 May 1984. Due to the occupation of his father, who is an architect and contractor, his childhood has passed in cities like Ankara, Eskisehir and Hatay. For this reason he studied primary school in Hatay and secondary school and high school in Ankara. He took part in the school theater during his secondary and high school years. As an amateur he earned his first theater experience with his role in the 1999 "Samata in the Light of the Moon" written by Haldun Taner. After completing his high school education, he graduated from Ankara Bilkent University - Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture - Graphic Design Department. After graduating from university, he came to Istanbul to work as a graphic artist with his close friend. After coming to Istanbul, he decided to become an actor. He studied acting in Academy 35.5 Art House and now he started his professional life as a theater. His first television work experience was won with "Sana Bir Sir Verecegim" TV series on FOX TV screens. After announcing his name with this series, he joined Medcezir TV series as a guest and gave life to the character "Cem". Beginning to broadcast on Star TV screens in the summer season of 2014, he played the character of "Cemal" in Güzel Köylü TV series. In 2017, "Yildizlar Sahidim" TV series, he played with Özge Gürel.
