Kate Hawley trained in graphic design at the Wellington School of Design and went on to receive a Television New Zealand Scholarship to study at The Motley School of Theatre Design in London in 1996 under the direction of Margaret Harris and Alison Chitty.[1]During this time she also participated in the Royal Opera House Course in Draughting for the Stage. Currently, Kate works in Film, TV and Stage design throughout Europe, the USA and Australasia.[1]
